The high-reflection (HR) grating has reflectivity above 99% and acts as the back mirror of the laser cavity. The low-reflection (LR) grating, with 5–40% reflectivity, serves as the output coupler, and its wavelength is matched to the HR grating within 0.15 nm.

They're optimized for fiber lasers with output power in the tens-of-watts range, with minimum insertion loss engineered for that power class.

The standard package is 25 × 10 × 6.0 mm; other dimensions are available on request.
